Life in Sienna is full of options! Whether you want to take a walk along one of the many trails throughout the community or participate in one of the Associations' leagues, classes, or camps, or if you want to enjoy one of the nearly weekly special events - there is something for everyone.
Due to COVID 19, the Association has made changes to schedules related to Community Activities, Classes, Leagues and Events. A detailed listing is available below (titled Event Schedule Changes - COVID 19). These changes supersede all other published documents. Posted March 16, 2020.
With a special events calendar of nearly 50 community-wide events per year - concerts & movies, parent & child dances, pool parties, camp outs, snow days, toddler fairs, KidFish tournaments, Bingo, community cook offs, cultural events, and holiday celebrations like our July 4th Extravaganza and more - there is bound to be an event for everyone in the family! CAMPS, CLASSES, LEAGUES, SPECIALTY NIGHTS & MORE!
The Association also offers a full calendar of recreational activities and programming that include special interest classes (painting, floral design, cooking, etc.), a robust Active Adult (50+) program, specialty night events for adults and children (reading nights, wine tasting, dances), field trips, and a full assortment of sport leagues for children and adults. The Club Sienna complex offers a total of eight (8) lighted tennis courts for the enjoyment of Sienna residents. Residents interested in playing tennis need to be sure and stop by the Association office to pick up a tennis court key which allows court access from sunrise to 10 p.m. daily. Tennis keys require a $15 deposit per key. The tennis complex offers convenient restroom facilities (need tennis key for use), seating area, and vending machines. For night play, each set of courts is equipped with a timer by the entry gate for turning on court lights. Click here to reserve a tennis court.
Sienna's tennis program offers lessons, leagues and camps for youth to adults for all levels of ability at the tennis complex located adjacent to Club Sienna. Sienna's tennis pro, Jan Mauldin is on-site at the Tennis Pro-Shop (9600 Scanlan Trace), Monday - Friday, beginning at 8 a.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. (closed Sunday). Sienna has fabulous amenities - many of which are available for rental by residents. Such amenities include the recently renovated Club Sienna (it's a completely NEW look inside), the Sawmill Lake Club, area pavilions, and more. Click here for virtual tours of these great amenities! Sienna residents are fortunate to have five community pools to enjoy. The Sawmill Lake pool and the Splashpad at Sawmill Park open on Saturday, March 7, 2020! The Pool is open on a Swim At Your Own Risk basis; pool hours are:
Mon/Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat/Sun: 10 a.m. - 8 pm.
Tuesday: CLOSED for cleaning
The Splashpad is open sunrise to sundown
The 2020 regular pool season begins in May, 2020.
Residents may reserve pools for private parties or smaller gatherings by visiting www.sweetwaterpoolsinc.com or emailing email@example.com. Swimming lessons are also offered. For more information please email Justin O'Sullivan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
